The year has ended with very good news: Wakalua Innovation Hub will expand its borders from 2023.
Our programmes aim to boost the national innovation ecosystem, as well as accelerate the digital transformation of our partners by creating strategic partnerships and connecting startups with the global venture capital network.
In this way we identify the most disruptive startups and expand the tourism innovation ecosystem globally.
Next destination: Uruguay
Last month Lisandro Menu-Marque, CEO Wakalua Innovation Hub, travelled to Uruguay, where he held a series of meetings in Punta del Este with entrepreneurs and authorities of the Provincial Municipality of Maldonado Punta del Este.
He later met at the headquarters of the Ministry of Tourism in Montevideo to discuss the details of the implementation of a Southern Cone Regional Hub of Wakalua Innovation Hub in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
The project of installing a Wakalua Innovation Hub in Uruguay seeks to strengthen through the installation of the Hub the digital and sustainable transformation of the sector through the search, selection, development and investment in the best startups in the southern region of the continent to help them scale and perform proofs of concept.
